That smaller profile—yes it really makes a difference. The Hexagon shape is everything I’ve wanted in shades: understated yet noticeably chic. From the impressively solid construction to the etched wordmark along the top of the lens these are nice through and through. I especially love the ridged V shape to the nose bridge. The case is also beautiful. Great stuff.

First things first: these are incredibly beautiful, high quality, well-made sunglasses. I own a lot of high-end pairs in other shapes, and these feel like they fit right alongside my nicest ones.

The search for cat-eye sunglasses has been a multi-year one for me. They were always too wide, too tall, always something, and I was genuinely starting to give up hope. So when Memori popped up on my Instagram with exactly the classic shape I'd been looking for, I decided to go for it.

When ordering I felt like I was between both temple lengths and went with the 140s. They arrived and I loved how they looked, so flattering and so easy to wear, but I kept noticing I was wearing them toward the tip of my nose. Since I'd never actually found a cat-eye that fit before, I was kind of in uncharted waters, so I reached out to Kari.

What followed was honestly one of the most educational and lovely experiences I've had around anything fashion-related. She looked at pictures of me in the 140s, taught me so much about what proper sunglass fit actually looks and feels like, and asked how I preferred to wear them on my face. For this style I wanted to wear them a little higher up, so she suggested I try the 130s alongside the 140s before deciding. Memori has an incredibly generous try-on period and I'm so grateful for it. I landed on the 130s and will probably come back for the 140s in another color anyway.

I didn't just walk away with a beautiful pair of cat-eyes I'd been searching for forever. I walked away actually knowing how to tell when sunglasses fit me. Kari truly cares so much about the people she's making these for, and it shows in every interaction. She has a customer for life in me.

Finally I can give up my child sized sunglasses! These are gorgeous, incredibly well made, and make me feel like the grown- up, which I (mostly) am.
