WE EXCLUSIVELY USE
CELLULOSE ACETATE
A premium plant-based material derived from cotton and wood pulp rather than petroleum. Chosen for its richer color depth, elevated finish, and long-term durability compared to standard plastics.
ARTISINAL
Mazzucchelli is widely regarded as the producer of the world's richest acetate. A family-owned Italian business, they began producing combs and buttons from horn, bone, and tortoiseshell in 1869.
TUMBLED
Acetate sections of eyewear are tumbled in large wooden barrels with abrasives (usually wood, stone, and oil) of varying textures to sand and smooth acetate over several days.
MALLEABLE
With heat, cellulose acetate is able to be molded to adjust to your features. This means easy adjustments for a tailored fit. Bends without breaking.
