Care, Warranty, and Returns

Care Instructions:

With proper care, Memorí heirloom-quality eyewear will bring you years of use and memories. Extend your frames' longevity by following these instructions:

Prior to each use: Wipe clean with the included microfiber cloth.

Every 10 wears: Apply a few drops of mild soap to your fingers, lather them underwater and massage soap foam to your lenses and frame. Rinse frame and lenses in warm water. Dry with your microfiber cloth. Leave out in well ventilated area for any remaining moisture to evaporate.

After salt water or beach exposure: Wash with soap using instructions above to prevent salt damage.

DO NOT USE RUBBING ALCHOL OR HARSH CHEMICALS TO CLEAN. These substances will damage the finish of the acetate and potentially ruin the color.

Do not leave in temperatures above 125 degrees Fahrenheit, or the acetate may warp (ex: car dashboard, ledge of bonfire)

 

Warranty: 

We stand behind our craftsmanship.

Every pair of Memorí sunglasses is backed by a 4-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

Examples include:

  • Hinge failures due to manufacturing defects
  • Material defects
  • Assembly issues

If we determine the issue is the result of a manufacturing defect, we'll repair or replace your sunglasses at no cost.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, lost or stolen sunglasses, scratched lenses from everyday use, or damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications.

Replacement program: 

We believe your eyewear should collect stories, not dust.

If your Memorí glasses are damaged while out living life (danced on at a wedding, chewed to bits by the new puppy, sat on during a boat day), or otherwise damaged while making memories—we've got you covered.

As long as you can return the damaged sunglasses to us, we'll replace them for $100.

Each original purchase is eligible for one "I Made Memories" replacement. We believe in second chances... not third. 

Because we produce our collections in small batches, we can't guarantee your exact color or style will still be available years later. If it isn't, we'll work with you to find the closest available replacement from our current collection.

To start a replacement request, simply contact us with your order number, photos of the damage, and the memory attached to the destruction. 

 

Returns:

How to Request a Return:
Email Kari@memorieyewear.com or fill out the "Contact Us" form on our website and select "Returns" in the drop-down menu to process your return.

Return Policy:
We are pleased to offer easy returns within 45 days of delivery for online orders.

Exceptions: Products marked online as "Final Sale" or items purchased in-person at one of our pop-up events or our NYC showroom. In-person transactions are final sale.

To qualify for a return, the sunglasses and their leather case must be returned in mint condition, with no scratches or signs of wear. We encourage customers to try the sunglasses on, but they must be free from damage or markings to be eligible for a refund.

Once we receive your return, refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.

USA Returns:

We encourage customers to order multiple pairs to compare fit at home. Finding the perfect fit is one of the most important parts of buying eyewear, and we're happy to cover return shipping to make that easy.

If you keep at least one item from your order, returns are completely free.

If you return your entire order, a 4% Complete Return Processing Fee will be deducted from your refund. This helps offset non-refundable payment processing costs and the labor required to inspect, process, repackage, and restock returned merchandise.

Return Example 1:
You purchase one pair of sunglasses for $340 and decide to return. A 4% Complete Return Processing Fee ($13.60) will be deducted from your refund. We provide a prepaid return shipping label. No additional return shipping charges apply.

Return Example 2:
You purchase two pairs of sunglasses for $340 each ($680 total), keep one pair, and return the other. There is no processing fee. We provide a prepaid return shipping label, and you'll receive a full $340 refund for the returned pair.

 

International Returns:

For international orders, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Customers may ship their return back to Memorí's USA office using the carrier of their choice.

The same 4% Complete Return Processing Fee applies only if the entire order is returned. If you keep one or more items from your order, no processing fee applies.

Please note that any VAT, taxes, import duties, or customs fees paid at the time of delivery are non-refundable, as these are paid directly to customs authorities and are outside of our control.

Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.
